Chinese-origin, Advance Denim has launched a collaboration with Good Earth Cotton to introduce a fully traceable denim line manufactured from fibers produced using clean indigo dying technology.
This shift is part of Advance Denim’s ongoing commitment to a new production model which centers on environmental protection while simultaneously elevating innovation and quality.
Good Earth Cotton is the only traceable, climate-positive cotton on the planet, sequestering more carbon than it emits over the course of its whole lifespan of growth while maintaining provenance and transparency with safe, auditable data.
Sharing a vision for a more environmentally accountable fashion industry
Advance Denim and Good Earth Cotton are working together to enhance the environmental impact of cotton and denim as a whole. They both have a vision for a fashion industry that is more responsible for the environment.
Cotton makes up 25% of the world’s global fiber use and the fashion industry accounts for 5% of annual global carbon emissions as the third most polluting industry after construction (10%) and food production and consumption (25%).
By 2023, Advance Denim wants to use 90% eco-friendly fibers in all of its products. Innovations like BigBox Dying and BioBlue Indigo, which produce cleaner indigo dye by using 95% less water and eliminating hazardous sodium hydrosulphite in the dyeing process, are the result of the company's focus on ongoing sustainable modernization.
“Advance Denim is proud to announce that we will be adding another layer of sustainability to our Advance Sico mill in Nah Trang, Vietnam, bringing denim made with modern regenerative cotton to the Vietnam region,” says Mark Ix, Advance Denim’s US marketing director.

The first of the partnership collection between Good Earth Cotton and Advance Denim will be released in December 2022.
