Armament Systems and procedures (ASP) is one of the leading law enforcement products and training providers in the world. On October, 13th, ASP has hired John Brownlee as their new Director of Government Sales.

Brownlee has 20 years of experience in sales and management – half of which was acquired by working for public safety industries and leading companies in both the retail and manufacturing sectors.

His most recent positions were held at Elbeco Uniforms as Territory Business Manager, and in management roles at Galls and Atlantic Tactical prior to then.

ASP Vice President of Sales Daryell Harmon said, “We have known John for some time, and are excited to have him join the team. He’s established and respected in the industry, and already has significant experience selling ASP products, so we know he’ll hit the ground running.”

About ASP

ASP is a leading designer, manufacturer, and supplier of public safety equipment and accessories like a baton, restraints, tactical lightning, pepper spray, training tools. OC, and LED lighting.

They also provide no-cost training to law enforcement officers, which otherwise costs nearly $2 million annually. This training is highly sought after by agencies across the world. It’s the gold standard of integrated use of batons, restraints, and flashlights.

ASP is also known for spending a significant amount from its revenue on research and development, design, prototyping, lab testing, and field testing so that their products reflect the “ASP DNA”.

The company was founded and is also currently led by Dr. Kevin Parsons, who began his career as a police academy instructor in firearms and defense tactics, and has later begun designing use-of-force training systems for major law enforcement clients across the country.
